1/2 way through Songs of Susannah (Dark Tower VI), it is really bad compared to the first 4.
Well, in the last little while I've read:
- Paris: 1944-1949 (Informative, but quite stuffy at times.)
- Apathy and Other Small Victories (Think Confederacy of the Dunces modernized. It's really that good.)
- The Reluctant Fundamentalist (An excellent affecting, short novel. Spartan narrative.)
- Absurdiastan (Funny at first, but the shtick wears pretty thin quickly.)

I finished reading the Cheese Monkeys last night. Kidd really nailed it, I could relate so much with the things in this book, the graphic design stuff was dead on (not surprising, given the author). There is a part in the book in which things dive into WTFville, but other than that I enjoyed it.
At first I liked Himillsy, but as the story progressed, I wanted to punch her in the face.
Has anyone read the hilariously-bilious and poorly-written-yet-perhaps-inadvertently-thought-provoking "The Average American Male"?
The Toronto Star called it "the worst book of the year."
While I agree, I still like it.
I finished ''Terrorist'' by John Updike.
Can't really recommend it buti don't regret reading it. It does provide alot of insight into much of the Islam-based anti-materialistic idealogies.
To make things a little ironic i read it on a plane ride. Waited for someone to ask me why i was reading it but no one did.
I have decided to read ''The Lord of the Flies'' because i never did in middle school. So far i'm unimpressed because i've exposed myself to much more meaningful and more finely written books. Right now i just want to finish it so i can move onto ''Man's Fate'' by Andre Malraux.
Yeah, I just read the preview pages again and decided I'm reading it again tonight.
