    I read it when it came out and unfortunately remember little of it. I'll have to reread it. Wasn't there a semi sequel to it as well?

    On page 138 of Heart Shaped Box. TNL and customers are slowing me down.

    I dont even think this book is in print anymore, but like I said, if you can get your hands on it, do it. Nightfall the novel sucked, I agree. Nightfall the story is awesome. This book also has classic stores like "Its such a beautiful day," "Breeds there a man..." "Green Patches," and "The Machine that won the war." The Complete Short Stories also has all these, but I think this shorter selection of just a few great ones is handy.

  7. Ah, so you were right. I'm pretty sure I have, and read, The Complete Asimov, or whatever it's called -- that huge book of most of his short stories -- or else I'd buy this one. Heck, maybe I will anyway, it's cheap. And I have no idea where I put that other book.

  9. Only about 25% done, but it's really good so far. Not living up to The Pillars of the Earth isn't really the point. At least he's trying. It's definitely got that book's spirit. His trademark naively noble but flawed characters are always a joy to get to know.

  10. I started to read "Roughing It" by Mark Twain and anjoyed what little bit I read, but I gave it up because it's a bit too dense for a casual read (for me at least)

    Started reading Assassination Vacation instead.
