I heard about this on BBC news, awful awful stuff. They showed a picture of the girl, she was really pretty - its quite difficult to understand why things like this happen.

This is pretty much on the same level as "Christian Science" murders, and yes any father that refuses his child medical attention based on some archaic religeous belief is murder. It'll flux but eventually fall into the background. BTW did anyone watch Babylon 5 on Sci-Fi today? kinda plays right into this topic.
