I don't think the website price is a valid match, but print out the page and give it a shot. If the website doesn't work you shouldn't need a flyer; just ask them to call where ever you want them to match.
could i have them price match their own website? or do i have to have a flyer?

frostwolf: 1 worthless circuit trip to all the stores in the area, plus at least 1 more to actually get the game
burg: 1 trip to pick up the game, 1 more to pick it up (after a sale, perhaps) and return it to EB immediately.
There's really no difference - plus you get to play the game on release day.
Actually I think it'd go more like this:
Frostwolf - Phone calls made to insure that not only does an EB in the area stock it at $40, but that his local EB will match it.
One trip out to EB to buy the game.
And who really gives a flying rat's ass about playing it on release day?
Apparently, frostwolf does, and also apparently his EB was not selling for $40.
Well, I live in a "wealthy" state, I guess- and usually our games are priced to the norm. We just got a Best Buy about, oh 2 weeks ago, so things are changing rather quickly. I will never complain if the prices drop- but be carefull on looking at the websites for there prices- Ive noticed that Gamestops website, when i worked for them, often had "deals" that were not as good as even the normal instore prices.... So, its allways worth shopping around, i guess.
In other news- my GS had 9 copies![]()
