The first anime had a made for tv explination, you dolt; literally, they made something up to explain alchemy because it was on tv before the explination was written in the mamga. The explination in Brotherhood is much better and was written over years for manga, not tv.

You've called me a dolt, but you're hinging your argument on the medium used as a reference. FMA could very well be better than Brotherhood if the source material got stupid. Following a manga closely is not in itself a sign of OMG quality. There are plenty of horrible mangas.
