i like to be optimistic, but i don't think it'll be an enormous smash hit..
probably enough to warrant a sequel or another game from the same developer, though... so it should be ok.

I think it will do well enough. I have yet to see someone walk up to a demo unit & not have fun with the game, & demos have been out for a while, so maybe.
If the game does fail, it won't be due to lack of media coverage. I haven't seen a single unkind word in a magazine or on the internet.

Hopefully it will make decent money, that will allow for the sequel, but a major hit like GTA3 or Vice City? Probably not.
I think it will be a classic niche title that will be fondly remembered. Despite its excellence, I think it's too quirky to become a major hit with the mainstream.
But I hope I'm wrong.

it will probably do just well enough for a sequel
nothing will be that big of a hit unless it allows maladjusted teenagers to kill hookers after having sex with them(grumble grumble). that said, i hope it does well, i know once i clear the hurdles to getting a copy, its mine, beyond that, sales numbers are nice, but i will be glad just to be playing it.Originally Posted by Despair

oh come on, how can you not love the VJ commercial? Tons of gameplay footage and it's "henshin a go-go baby!" :-)
