Thread: Funniest games of all time.

  1. I'm still going to have to give my award to Xenogears, which is the most unintentionally funny game of all time.

That's odd cus Total Recall made me cry, and I'm talking like a baby who just had his lollipop and blankie taken away before seeing his dog shot.

Either way if Grim Fandango isn't on the list then it doesn't hold water IMHO. Sure it was a little dry but it was still funny.

  3. I can understand why they left out Grim Fandango, deserving as it may be. They already had Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max, and Cuse of Monkey Island. You can't have nothing but Lucasarts adventure games on the list.

  4. Yes you can.

Well you can, but then people would complain. But that's going to happen anyway, so why even give a damn? Grim Fandango is just as funny if not moreso than those games at times.

And I second the idea that Giants should be on this list. Which just reminded me of MDK2, which probably wouldn't go on the top ten list but it's still quite a funny game.

  6. KOTOR deserves a nod from me because of HK-47. Damn droid had me rolling. Especially the story about the origin of the "meatbag" references.

  7. Humm.. Discworld? Hitchhikers Guide made me laugh more than any game because of one part. You inventory always reads: "No Tea" reguardless of what you actually have in your inventory. I got a door to open by showing it my inventory when I actually had tea and "it was so impressed" at the fact that I had both Tea and No Tea that it opened. I dunno... I found that very very amuseing.

    Hell yes it does.
    o_O

  8. Blazing Dragons didn't make the list, not that it should've but I'm sure it's atleast in the top 20.

  9. Viewtiful Joe deserves a mention. The Banjo games had their moments, if in a childish way.

Yeah, there was. It's on the "Collection Series" release. (SQ 1-6)

Damn, I really must play Sam and Max and Day of the Tentacle again.
