  2. Even worse is when they go up in price.

Klonoa is now going for 55-60 dollars? Damn me for waiting

For real - got mine shortly after debut. Eeny-Meeny-Meyny-Mo'ing through the Die Hard Gamer's Club Catalog got me that gem, and Real Bout Collection on the same Day.

You think $200 is insane? I've seen a New Sealed copy of it on eBay going for $350 BIN. Needless to say, it's been relisted multiple times, and I don't know if it ever sold.

So that doesnt count. If someone bought it for $350, then thatd be something. But I could list a copy of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt for $350 BIN if I wanted.

  5. Anyone who pays $200 for Silvergun clearly isn't doing his homework.

  6. Especially when you can play it for the price of a duct tape roll, an internet connection, and a blank CDR.
Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim.

  7. No, even for an authentic Silvergun, $200 is high.

  8. that's why I said especially. The price of RSG is inflated by seller greed and buyer misconceptions .. it's not really intuitive of supply and demand.

Seller's greed? Do tell me that if you are trying to sell something to somebody you don't know that you are not going to try to get the largest dollar you can?

RS prices are realistic supply and demand, the buyer misconception simply shifts the demand curve right.

I'm just thankful the Saturn doesn't have a central website where collectors/fans make up prices and give evilbay swindlers a reason to jack prices...

... unlike another arcade console I know...
Currently collectiong all 55 Saturn shmups:
    Progress: 35/55
    ^^^ Now there's a website for it!
