add the US Snatcher to that list...WOW!
I sold a copy about 3 years ago for $90, and I was shocked...should have held out![]()
Really? That explains a lot. My copy of PC is mint so I guess I'll be holding on to that baby for a while.Originally Posted by Bar81
Galactic Attack is an excellent shmup that can be had for next to nothing. It's a shame more people don't check it out.Speaking of good prices, the 20-30 it costs for Layer Section is an absolute STEAL You won't play a better shooter anywhere and given the price I still don't know why many people have yet to try this expecially considering the US version, Galactic Attack, goes for less than $1 usually.
About the AES games, you have a point. That's why I got a Phantom Converter. Now I can play all those great games and not have to hock my first born to do so.

That is fucking ridiculous. If anyone knows a place where I can get an ISO, please PM me. Ive never played Snatcher before, I want to, but that is horse shit.
And pirating the game instead of buying it from that schmo won't cost Konami money or anything, so suck it.
edit: Nevermind, I found it. Damn, I rule at the internet.
That Snatcher's a bit of an anomaly ... He was smart to include the light gun. Good auction gimmick.
copies in actual collectible condition are still going for way over $100.
That's just an assclown convention; it doesn't usually fetch more than $80-90 even new.Originally Posted by Videodrone

Only rare/expensive game I have is Suikoden 2, it was even hard to find when it first came out too. I did find a copy 3 years ago, haven't played it yet, but it seems to be one of the more expensive PSX games.
Anyone know how much the Space Adeventure for the SEGA CD goes for? I hear it is pretty rare, but never see any for sale.
It's no secret that some games just have a greater demand, than there are copies on the market. What I don't get, is that companies like Treasure and Sega sit back and don't take advantage of this?
Panzer Dragoon Saga would make an excellent port for a system like PS2. Tweak the graphics to at least be favorable to today's games and sell the game. I'm sure they could sell 50,000 units easily and make a nice profit in return.
It's no secret that Treasure is'nt raking in the dough. Just the demand alone for Radiant Silvergun, would probably sell 75,000 units of the game if it were ported.
If I was a company that needed to make a fast buck and I had a garaunteed seller sitting in my archives, I'd have to be a fool to overlook such a gem.
Darius Alpha and Sapphire are expensive because they're *extremely* rare. Darius Alpha was the result of a mail in campaign that required purchasers of two Darius games to mail in their PoP; less than 1000 exist. Sapphire was only handed at a game show at the PC Engine's demise - there was never a retail release although obviously one was envisioned. The print run is unknown but it's small.Originally Posted by dog$

I have a feeling the game is'nt really worth much, as demand dictates the price, more than rarity.
