Manual. It's not too difficult, and is definitely better for cheap cars. In these, "slush boxes" live up to their name.

There is nothing you can do with an automatic that you cant do with a manual.

This includes eating, smoking cigarettes, getting a blowjob, whatever.

Quoted for truth. I can hold a subway sandwich, a glass of pop, and drive a manual transmission car all at the same time.

I also like to be in the correct gear for the corner I am taking. Downshifting and braking allows me to be at the proper speed to take a corner and accelerate out without having to brake in the middle of the corner.

I rarely ever use my clutch pedal anyway. If you know what you are doing, you don't have to unless you are taking off from a complete stop.

Shifting w/o the use of the clutch is not a good idea. Bad things can happen, even if you're the king of rev matching.

My old Suzuki Samurai required me to do this near the end of its life. I hated it.
