Fair enough the music does fit, but rap will still turn me off thats all im saying. im over rap music, thats all.

And if those comments equate to "crying". So does this

"lord, you'd think that rock and techno were the only kinds of music allowed in video games"

  3. Well, I can tolerate rap in games in small doses, but da-yum is that way too much rap. The lack of variety is the killer in it all. Xbox version here I come.

..maybe, i will have to check out how the hand to hand is done.but this is where the box shines, with custom soundtracks, you are never again at the mercy of (c)rap music. time to get "empire" in cd form.
hell, i would listen to para para before that trash

liking guilty gear shouldn't require the person to have to like rock if they listen to the in game music, but it does. liking disgaea shouldn't require the person to have to like it's style of music if they listen to the in game music, but it does. very few games make the effort to put in music tracks that cater to everyone's taste, why is it only an issue here?
I like some rap myself but I dunno why the game has to have all rap soundtrack. I'm still interested in the game since I liked what I played of the demo but I was hoping more diversity in music than one type. I mean, yeah it would fit some because the California setting can mesh with the music in urban areas but it doesn't exactly fit the game like a glove.

With Guilty Gear it was its charm since the creators are such rock fans that they even integrated it into the designs.

But hey whatever, if it gets some good reviews I probably won't mind that much. Plus it was delayed which could mean more polishing.

  7. i'd have to actually hear it before i judge it.

    rap or no rap.

  8. If the music fits then I don't rightly care what it is. I was planning on getting the XBox version anyway so if there's a custom soundtrack option maybe I'll toss some extra stuff in if I get bored of their selection. I see no problem.
