I do like to spin Greenpeace raps though. You know, talk about driftnetting or something. It's feels like I'm earning quota and reaching zero discharge. I will always be a canvaser at heart. Yes, I could pilot a Greenpeace boat (the Rainbow Warrior?) into a nuclear blast zone. I've piloted a big ship before. It's really not that hard to steer.
EDIT: That's kind of a big question for a canvaser I guess. For a fence sitter. You may agree with Greenpeace on some issues, but what about thier crazy antics out on the ocean?
It's an interesting phenomenon. When is life less important than a cause?
Terrorism is very easy to define.
Its when people target innocent civilians for the purpose of creating fear (a.k.a. terror) in the populace in the hopes that it will cause the government to change policies or bend to their will.
Thus, the suicide bombers in Palestine are terrorists. Absolutely, unequivocally, without a doubt they are terrorists and that is terrorism. Because they are targetting innocent civilians.
9/11 was undoubtedly terrorist.
Israel doesn't target innocent civilians so that ain't terrorism.
Yeah the Israeli government is guilty more of something like Apartheid than terrorism.
SC
9/11 is undoubtedly terrorism. However, I half agree with you with suicide bombers. Some, yes, are terrorism since they target cilvilians. Some, however, aren't since they are fighting for Palestine. But it's hard to tell which is which since Hamas is wack these days. They now wanna kill every Israeli and Jew.Originally Posted by diffusionx
As for Israel not being a terrorist, that is definately wrong. Israel is a terrorist. It does target civilians areas for one man. The homes of suicide bombers are destroyed regardless of whether there are children and women living there. Hotels are attacked in broad daylight just to get a Hamas leader. They imprison terrorist suspects without availing them of their rights. The familes of suicide families are deported. It imposes closures on Palestian cities.
I could go on and on. Israel definately has some balls to ignore international criticism and to avoid a hundred of the UN's resolutions.
Actually plenty of reports to the contrary.Originally Posted by diffusionx
