Request: Separate political forum

These past few months, I've noticed that political issues have started to fill sound off. I've seen another message board, which had the same situation, create a separate board for politics, and it seems that the threads still get plenty of traffic, and it also helps keep the off-topic forum less cluttered.

So does anyone agree with me?

I see no point in creating an entire forum for 2-3 threads per week, tops.

Better off ignoring the political threads, just like you do with other threads you don't like.

In addition to that, I would like to see a forum for Topics Tracer Doesn't Give a Damn About:
(WWE Thread, Monthly Comic Book Thread)

This has been discussed in the treehouse already; I don't think there's gonna be a new forum for those specific topics.

I manage to ignore the wrestling and porn threads; surely ignoring political threads wouldn't be too much of a chore.

I think it's only become an issue because Hyper Sonic posted like 5 or 6 in the past two days. Other than that, there are not that many political threads.

as cka already expressed, it was discussed amongst the management and it was decided that we will not develop a forum at this time.

sound off is the hub for discussion that doesn't apply to outlets such as entertainment, high score rankings and such. these are significant depts which were considered relevant. a smatter of threads from persons like almaci and such should not defer to the notion of creating a board.

at that rate, we'd have boards for complaints, fetishes, foreign cultures and video games.

...oh wait, we have that last one already don't we?
