Thread: Kya: Dark Lineage

  1. Well the GTA games must be a nightmare to test, while I have to imagine Kya would be a million times easier.

Yeah, but I think Atari rushed Kya out for last year's holiday season. It came out in November I believe, yet not until this year in Europe where it was developed(France, to be exact). I'm sure the Euro version is free of all these bugs.

Eden Games being a French developer, I think they tried to emulate Rayman's look and feel.

I'm guessing it's a problem with your console. GTA3 is buggy but nowhere near that buggy.

I don't have that problem with any game except for the GTAs.

  6. Just picked this game up earlier this week. And so far its really great. The Rayman comparisons are pretty true. But its got its own feel as well. The environments are fantastic from what I have played through, just got to the second world. And the first world was easily the size of two or three in most 3D platformers. Its got a very different world structure so far as well, with the levels getting broken up and making leave and purchase things or aquire new skills and come back, and rediscover the area you have just been in. This could lead to annoying back-tracking, but I don't think it will get too bad. So far its great stuff.
