First Look: Legends of Wrestling 3

Acclaim announced today that <I>Legends of Wrestling 3</I> is now under development, and is scheduled for release in April 2004. Acclaim has also launched a <a href="http://www.legendsshowdown.com" target="_new">special website</a> for the game, featuring screenshots, newsletters and desktop wallpaper.

Pretty slick of Acclaim to put their logo in the old WWF WrestleMania text coloring. I'm also amazed they're calling Warrior the Ultimate Warrior in the game.

God, please make this shit stop. Legends of Wrestling is fucking terrible. All these damn wrestling games are terrible. Maybe if you want a bit of homoeroticism mixed with your terrible graphics, clunky play mechanics, and shitty-ass characters, I can see why you'd dig this shit, but quite frankly I'd also say you are retarded.

Anyone looking forward to Legends of Wrestling 3 needs to go the fuck away, and fast.

You'll get no arguement from me on the LoW series being shitty, the second game is just God-awful. The first game had some charm to it, but the second...whew, not good at all. As for wrestling games all being shitty, no way. The WrestleMania series has some of the best counter wrestling you'll ever see in a game, with the SmackDown series feature the most moves and some okay countering. Raw on Xbox was shit, haven't tried the second one though.
