so they pushed back the jpn release and totally entirely jumped the us release?!? that is the fucking ownage. when do we ever get theatrical anime so early?

but when did movies hit theatres on a monday? if it came out X-mas Eve (wednesday), then it would be totally perfect seeing as how that's when the film takes place. still, the news is very good. great, great film and should NOT be missed.

shouldn't be any secret now when the release date is (Jan. 16th), but for anyone in NYC or close enough, they're doing an early screening i believe on the 13th at the Angelika.

hey, saw this in a theater here in Pasadena Los Angeles Sunday. Got to say I didn't know what to think of this movie, thought it would be about gangsters or something, in the end it turned out to be more emotional than I predicted. There aren't too many movies that deal with bums, so when you see that runaway you feel that much more sympathetic. Loved the movie. Almost cried at this one point because I was so _happy_ for a character! That's a first for me watching entertainment. Recommend you all see this movie too. Its not perferct, but it is still very good and very well done for what it is. Want to see Millenium actress now.
