Favorite Next-Gen Platformer?

Mine would go to Maximo: Ghosts To Glory. It's the closest thing Capcom has released to the Ghouls N' Ghosts franchise since we may never be seeing Makaimura Online. It sports beautiful graphics, responsive controls, fun and challenging gameplay and decent animation. It's this game that makes me look forward to the Army Of Zin.

So I vote Maxmio my favorite.

Don't worry, I liked Blinx too. In fact, I'd say it's in the top 5. I had a lot of fun with it.

VJ is not a platformer imo. I mean, it's platforming elements are done better than many actual platformers, but I still consider it an action game.

Anyway, it's a three way tie for me, between Maximo, Ratchet & Clank, and Klonoa 2.

Sly Cooper, probably. Haven't opened Ape Escape 2 yet, but I hear it's pretty lukewarm ...

It had enough to keep me going, but if you played the original Ape Escape, it's pretty meh.

Definitely Maximo, with Sly Cooper a close 2nd. I've yet to play R&C, however.
