The Yomiuri Shimbun reports that Dreamworks officials stated yesterday that Oshii Mamoru's movie Innocence will screen in 10 big cities in the US in the (northern) autumn of 2004 and that the movie will also screen in Europe within the year. Dreamworks has global distribution rights for the movie, except for the Asia region. Source: alternative-live. The movie will be released theatrically in Japan on 6 March 2004."

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say NY is one of those "10 big cities."

So the US theatre release is Autumn, so I guess by this time next year it'll be out on dvd.
