Thread: The Twin Sticks are mine.

  1. The Twin Sticks are mine.

    Finally.

VGD actually had a pair (not really a "pair," but anyway) for $60 (Saturn one[s])...

Who could pass that up? No manual, said the description.. But I am assuming (hoping, too) that the box is included...

I'll need a TC3, but until then the Saturn version of VO should tide me over...

Only $10 for a new Netlink version (or Seganet, says VGD [d'oh])...

Actually, can anyone explain the reasoning behind the differnt prices for the different versions?

  2. Nice deal. As I said in your other post, no real differences between the versions, aside from the Modem-To-Modem play.

    Yes, that's correct... It's not even true netplay. It's a direct-dial connection.

Erm, welcome to VO! That's not to say you need the sticks to enjoy the game... Anyways, read up on some faqs and whatnot. Oh, and check out www.virtualon.net.

  3. The game is decnt and everything with the DC pad... but it is about time I experience VO to the fullest...

    Mmmm...

  4. Reargh! I still some DC Twin Sticks! There were some floating around Ebay a few months ago for $50-60, but I haven't seen any in a while...

    I feel your pain...

First: NCS had them. The DC ones. Could not convinve mom to pay for half for birthday. Could not convince her to let me pay the amount myself. (It's her credit card after all..)

Second: Sega-parts.com had them. $50 for SS pair... Hesitated and... sold out.

Damn, it's been a while... And now I finally have them...

Some day, Mech! I think I know of two other sites that have them if you are intersted... a little pricey.. but I think they are brand new...

  6. Ah! Here we are, Mech!

Very nice price.. but shipping will cost a bit, I can imagine...

And don't mind the wrong picture is my guess...

  7. And here we have the pricey alternate..

  8. Hmm... $100 for the DC sticks (which I've heard are a bit better), or $75 for Saturn sticks plus Total Control Adapter. Decisions, decisions...

Thanks for the links! Anyone know of any reputation for these companies?

I personally would e-mail Chan at GCC and ask him how much the shipping would be for the SS pair... If it is over $25, I would pass. I haven't heard anything negative about GCC... they have a lot of nice stuff and Chan is good about replying to e-mail...

TNJ- Only if the shipping is over $25 at GCC I would go for the DC pair here... The shipping will probably be quite a bit... As for the actual site, don't expect any e-mails replys... But I did recieve one order on a timely manner when I ordered from them once... Fairly timely..

  10. Coolness, thanks!
