You are actually making MY point. Microsoft's software isn't positioned to be the only thing on the system that sells, whereas on Nintendo's consoles, it is and has always been Nintendo software first. They charge TONS to develop for the system, and then cut prices on 1st party software to boost their own sales. No wonder everybody is jumping ship.
I'm no Tao Feng fan, but Microsoft and Sony are much better with 3rd parties...

on a more serious note, is there an actual percentage of consoles sold to date, that are gamecubes? (where the 100% total would be a combination of PS2, XBX and GCN) though i guess i could just come up with it myself...
