Aquaman only jumped at Superman because Supes was in the way of his plan to save Atlantis. If you didn't notice in that ep, Aquaman has a blind devotion to Atlantis, being it's king and all, and will stand up to ANYONE that tries to get in his way.

I know the JL cartoon tweaked Aquaman alot, so he wouldn't be quite a retard on land. The ep was really good, except for Solomon Grundy being portrayed as a cheap Hulk ripoff.

Exactly. If, someday, Nightwing became the replacement for Batman, that'd be fine by me. He can be just as intimidating and badass, and is a bit more athletic, to boot.

a couple years ago the Aquaman comic was awesome. Definatly one of my favorites, i should look up the issues and figure out what the writer is doing now.

Aquaman was pretty funny when he was looking for the bulb wrench in JLA year one, but still........a guy who talks to fish cannot possibly anywhere near badass in my eyes. Poor kid, he'll always be fishboy in my eyes.
