I believe that is the detective game which you control via the USB microphone. You can give your dog orders and even interrogate suspects all with the USB Mic.
I'm a big fan of Acquire's games so I'm wondering what this one's about. It says something about using a USB microphone but the site doesn't tell me much. Has anyone played it?

yes. this is a voice controlled-game where you issue commands via a headset mic. i believe you can also hook up your aibo, assuming you have one, via USB and that somehow affects the main character's dog.
deka means detective, incidentally.
it's not by acquire, but konami is putting out a different voice-controlled game in the US, which was also originally published by SCEI in japan. it's called operator's side, and according to the konami reps got great ratings in famitsu apparently. the US version is called lifelife.

you play the role of someone trapped in a control room on a resort space station, where you offer direction to a young perky waitress. the game more or less looks like RE but with even less control. =)
basically you wear the SOCOM headset and say things like "walk to the bed" "look at the dress... look at the dress... look at the dress ... (why isn't she looking at the dress!?) pick up the dress..."
it's the 21st century version of a 1980s text parser!
the US voice for the waitress is some celebrity whose name i've forgotten at this point, but i recgonized it when i was told.
it seemed both interesting and something that would drive me batty very, very quickly.
That LifeLine game sounds really really cool. Who puts out a third-party voice headset?
I totally forgot about Aibo support. But then, who in their right mind has one? And thanks for the info on Lifeline. I hadn't heard anything in a while and thought it might be canceled.
logitech. i think mad catz may as well. the logitech one is nicer than the socom one.Originally Posted by kabuki
also i think sony has started to sell the socom one alone, but i'm not sure. anyway, there's no problem finding a headset without buying socom at this point.
