Help me make a MAme machine

Long story short: A freind of mine has a sister that is the manager for the local arcade, their Tekken tag cab's moniter died or somthing, and couldnt replace it, so they gutted it, and gave it out to some freind of thiers, they were going to do somthing with it, i forget, but later on, they didnt do anything, they were planning to destroy it, but my freind knew i was in need of a cab, so she offerd them $10 bucks, and they said allright.
So now i got a cab, it has the 2 sets of joysticks, need replaceing maybe, 6 buttons to a side, its set up Tekken tag 5 button style(ill be adding more), the coin slot things are there, with locks and keys inside, speakers, and a shitload of wires.

Now i need to know what to do, the hardest part for me to replace would be the moniter, i dont know if i should just stick a tv or a pc moniter inside, it looks like it could fit somthing around 19+ inside, i have no idea size i need. What would be the cheapest best solution? Im a jobless basterd so its going to be a while. everything else i can get easily. i also need to know how to use MAME, i have never used it, looks funky to me. I hope to get the coin things working properly, cause i hope to sap some money from my little brother and his freinds.

if i cant do anything with it, ill just destroy the cab or give it out, keep the joystick box, and turn it into somthing really nice. ive been hopeing to make a double joystick box anyway.

Remove the monitor, and take it to a TV repair shop. They'll fix it.

Then hack a keyboard, and wire the joystick/buttons to the keys.

Buy a "arcade card" for the PC. Ask Chibi Nappa for more details, I forget.

Then hook it up and you're in buisness.

You can also buy a new monitor for an alright price from many different websites.

Try to avoid sticking a PC monitor in it, as it will be stupid.


MAME is easy to use. If you cant figure it out, you need to get your ass kicked.
