Lets complain: Why do attached images only show as links?

So I'm updating thumbnails right now and it's working fairly well. Looks like you'll get your thumbnails after all.

No, they were asking for the image to not show up as a link. Now it shows up as an image, but also as a link as to not warp the browser if the image is too big! I win both fights!
