How does Halo get the best PC game? Maybe if Microsoft didn't screw us and it came out over a year ago on the PC when it was supposed to. I heard it's a decent game but games like Max Payne 2 murder it.

True Crime's combat system is great, same goes for the driving and, to a lesser extent, the shooting stuff. Good to see it win something, although "action game of the year" is a bit much. WWE SmackDown: Here Comes the Pain wasn't even the best wrestling game this year, let alone fighting game.
