I'm definetly watching this, just to see Tony Hawk's Underground win. I wonder if Hawk will accept the award, like he did at the BlockBuster Video award show. He skated in from out of nowhere, said some cool shit, then ollied out of there. It owned.

Check out the www.spiketv.com site's video game timeline. Sure, it's filled with a shit load of typos and some of the information is way off, but the visual presentation and 8bit music playing in the background really made me smile. Be sure to check out the song called "Timemachinego". Props to them for having so many Williams/Midway games on there.

this show has way too few categories, and going by the commericals, it should only take 5 minutes from start to finish. because you know, they're cutting out all the shit and going straight to the winners.

They ain't paid to cover the "lesser known" titles. This is nothing more then a way of hyping software so publishers can get a bigger sum on their paychecks.

This reminds me of the "TNL Top 50 Games of All Time" list that was compiled a while back... it was one of the worst lists Ive ever seen, much much worse than anything EGM/GamePro/NextGen/whoever put together.

If you watch the Blockbuster Awards, which has the public pick the best movies and tv shows and shit, they are just as ludicrous as this SpikeTV shit.

I have no problem knocking it, I'm just wondering how could it be GOTY caliber when we've all seen that honor belong to different games outside of sports titles? The series is ok, but there has to be some serious tweaking or overhaul to even be considered as great.
