    Konami Digital Entertianment announced today that they've obtained the worldwide licensing rights to YS VI: The Arc of Napishtim and will be releasing it on consoles Winter 2004.

    Konami will further enhance the in-game graphics, improve the controls and expand the scenario by adding new maps, enemies and missions. With the many additions planned for this action-RPG, YS VI is poised to be the most interesting, most visually appealing and most and expansive YS game to date.

    A legendary RPG series that rarely ever leaves its native country, YS first appeared as a PC game developed by Nihon Falcom Corporation in 1987 which depicted the adventures of its hero, Adol Christian, and is now the most popular PC RPG series in Japan. Various American releases of the games in the late 80s and early 90s on the Master System, Genesis, SNES, and others brought the series brief worldwide popularity.

  2. Oooooooooo... now that is exciting. Now hows about releasing the Ys and Ys II Eternals in the US? The PC versions would be nice.
