The Ms. PacMan / Galaga machine at the Chello's restaurant near me costs $1.00 per credit. What the hell is up with that?
Also, does Taito really expect to sell 10,000 units of a 25-year-old game at that price?
<img align="left" src="http://www.the-nextlevel.com/news/0312/si.jpg">According to Reuters, Taito is restarting US sales of Space Invaders in celebration of the game's 25th anniversary.
"There has been a rebirth of classic video games in America," Taito spokesman Kengo Naka said. "We thought it would coincide nicely with the 25th anniversary of its debut in the U.S."
Because Taito no longer has any offices in the United States, Namco will be taking care of sales, who are shooting to sell 10,000 cabinets at $2,772 a unit. Because of inflation, one credit will now cost 50 cents.

I dunno. I'd pay 50 cents for a game of Majestic 12 or Volfied, but not Space Invaders or Qix. Also, $1.00 for Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga is criminal.Originally Posted by K3V

Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
wow, this is by far the stupidest thing I've heard today. I hope the thing is made out of solid gold for that price. Also, at 50 cents a credit, it had better pop out some candy when I'm done playing.
