The best NES CV, and one of the greatest action RPGs of all time. Trekking though the vast Transylvanian countryside never fails to bring a chill down my spine. Any fans of this game?

That it is, and the name "gozen" comes from a sub-boss in Persona 2.

EP was probably my favorite RPG of all time not too long ago. Planescape torment probably holds that spot for me now though. This writeup here might be of interest to you.

The only CV titles that out do CVII are SotN and HoD.

The boss battles sucked, otherwise I enjoyed it.

I liked CV2 back in the day, but not anymore. It's not stood the test of time very well. I'll take CV1 or CV3.

if konami was serious about making an online castlevania, this is the one to model it after. town to town travel, day/night cycle.. i love the premise, but i somehow don't like the game itself. the puzzles are insane, and it has invisible pits.
