Thread: Imaginary 2004 Three Party Race

  1. I'm having trouble finding dirt on Dean as well, seems like most of the sites and reports I've heard have nothing but good things to say about this guy.

    Giving bush another 4 years as president would be the most idiotic failure of the people should he manage to land himself another term in office. Considering that most people have the internet, they better dig and start looking at records rather then letting themselves be tempted by whatever campaign these career poilititians have to blow money on.

    While it's not quite a good idea to be blaiming people for their reasoning over who they vote for, I clearly don't agree with any decision putting even someone like Lieberman in office since he's done so much on the side with Al Gore (he's last partner for running mate) towards our entertainment, culture values and support for laws that surpress our freedoms. If you vote for him, you sure as hell better know what you're voting for. Sorry if this rant gets on anyone's case.

    Btw, he clearly stated he'll add further laws with the idea of supporting the DMCA, that shows us which side he's on (not ours).

    I didn't think Dean was such a bad guy but his endorcement by Gore made me a little skeptical, I will likely still vote for Bush and in my opinion if Gore had become President we'd all be whining and debating about much worse then Bush, but who knows, I'd say Liberal politicians are better at altering minds then Conservative ones and thats why Conservatives always get the hammer harder.

    Agreed. He would abolish all forms of entertainment if he had his way...

    I also would never vote for McCain for his similar opposition to Mixed Martial Arts. Its like the perfect duo to kill my only 2 hobbies.

    The funny thing is that you just guessed what I was thinking and got it wrong. I said I didn't think Dean such a bad guy but endorcement by Gore (the guy who was in cahoots with Clinton and sold weapons to our enemies and is responsible for a good deal of civilian deaths...yeah that Clinton) doesn't make any sense unless his agenda follows that of Al Gore. I'm not gonna bother looking up too much stuff because I don't think Bush is a bad guy, like it or not.

    And as I also plan to spend a career in the military I don't need another military hater like Clinton, is Dean one of these? No and probably not but I know Bush isn't. The worst thing I heard about the Clinton Adminstration military was that they were drumming people out before they hit 20 years so they couldn't collect retirement, talk about being screwed by your government.

  10. My parents keep telling me to vote for Bush, but I'm not too big on right wing conservatism. I could go with Dean, but I'm also not big on left wing liberalism.

    So that left me with McCain. I like John McCain, but I've never really been too happy with Liberman. Maybe I'll write myself in....
