That is shitty logic. Yes, every system has good games. But does every system have good games that make it worth spending the money on the enabler (the console) to play those games? If the system does not have these games, then it sucks.

I want Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime for GameCube, but its not worth spending $100 for Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime. And if you're gonna say, "oh its only $100! What's the big deal?", then I dont want to hear it. One hundred dollars to me isnt the same as one hundred dollars to you, and not all of us want millions of nerdy consoles in our life.

So the GameCube sucks. End of story.

You're missing a point that DiffX already elaborated on, and it's one I agree with. He's poor, but even if he had the money, he wouldn't buy a Gamecube, because it sucks.

Maybe you missed his posts where he's elaborated on his feelings for Nintendo, but that's okay since none of us can read everything here. I'll elaborate them for you, since I know I'm not the only person that feels this way.

He doesn't care about how cute the games are. If he did, he wouldn't have owned Escape From Monkey Island, Silhouette Mirage, Crash Team Racing, Bangai-O, Skies of Arcadia, or Sonic and then sold them in his sale thread. The point is, Nintendo sucks. Their games are not as good as they used to be, and to me, not even as good as recent somewhat popular titles like Super Monkey Ball, Shenmue 2, or fucking Amplitude.

Nintendo was the best game company on the planet, and newer GBA games like Fire Emblem, Wario Ware and Mario & Luigi show that they still have that spark. They're just not showing it on the Gamecube, and everything they have done outside of Metroid Prime and maybe Smash Melee has been pure ass that wouldn't be accepted at all if it wasn't for the fact that they were made by Nintendo. Lucas Barton used to be one of the biggest Nintendo fanboys here, but these days even he's jumping in on the Nintendo threads and voicing his disappointment in nearly everything Nintendo has done for the Cube. Even Ubi fucking Soft is outdoing Nintendo in the quality department these days, and that's a day I never expected.

You can argue your opinion all you want, and that's fine because I can see how people would still like these games. Nintendo's still good enough to still be a worthwhile company, but that's not a position anyone thought Nintendo would ever be in. It's also not a position they should be in if they want to sell a console to me based on their first-party performance. To me, the Gamecube looks similar to what Naughty Dog's console would be like if they wanted me to buy their console full of Crash and Jak games.

That's really funny. If I dont like Nintendo, of COURSE it must be because Im not enough of a man to play a game with Nintendo characters (even though I said I wanted Animal Crossing in the same fucking post you quoted). Ill thank omfgninjas for elaborating for me, because I have elaborated on why I dont like Nintendo MANY times, and I have given PLENTY of good reasons, yet people like you, JMET, Shin Johnpv, Hero, kbuchanan, and whoever the fuck else, choose to ignore what I say and just whine to a mod and call me a "blind Nintendo hater". Shit, clearly you didnt even read everything I wrote in this very thread, because this is the second time I said all of this. Here, this is what I wrote before:

They just pop in with some inane bashing statements in most nintendo related threads. We understand why you don't like them, you have explained it at length, & I respect those valid reasons. All we are asking is to stop with the grade school level "teh cube is ghey!!11!" remarks all the fucking time. It is just as tiresome as the people who cry foul every time you do it. Break the fucking cycle, because you guys are definately the ones starting it anew every damned time. Just type out your distaste for the cube in your sig, it will save you tons of time spent retyping the same old shit over, & over & over.
