    That sounds so polar. Like every game they make is excellent or crap. Most are in between, generally containing their share of appealing ideas and problems.

    I think they are generally polar. Dragon Drive is the only Treasure game I can't make my mind up on.

  3. Any chance that Astroboy might hit the states? I'll just hold off on importing if it is.

    The PS2 game looks like it's coming, so the GBA game surely will as well. It's kinda hard to hold out, though. I like anime, and what little Tezuka I've seen, but I've never seen Astroboy so I'm not a huge fan or anything. He seems likable enough, what with the ass machinegun and all. Do you have to know any Japanese to be able to play it?

    I was overgeneralizing as they do have middle ground(Headdy, Bangaio) but for me, but they tend to make games I either love(S&P, Gunstar, Guardian Heroes, Alien Soldier) or games I have little desire to play(Mischief Makers, Stretch Panic, Light Crusader, Silpheed), making them more polar than most developers. The hits outnumber the misses. I don't consider their lesser games crap but mediocre.

    Well... I love most of their games since I'm a fanboy, but some are still decidedly much better than others. I love Silhouette Mirage, Micheif Makers, and Dynamite Headdy. But I don't love them like I love Sin and Punishment, Gunstar Heroes, and Alien Soldier. And similarly I find games like Dragon Drive and Tiny Toons:BBD ok, but I don't really love them. And I hate Silpheed and Light Crusader. I just can't stand playing them.

    So there's alot of "teirs" of quality for Treasure I think. It's not just hit or miss.

  7. Stretch Panic -> one of the worst games ever made.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    There are worse games. I liked it... wish there were actual levels to go with the bosses, but I liked it. ;_;

    It only sucked because you had to pay full price for a tech demo. It's still a good game... there is just not much of it.

  10. I'm interested to hear about Full Metal Alchemist, as well . . . that is all . . . carry on.
