Ultimate Videogame Countdown EGM+MTV special (and EGM article)

Any see this show last night? Fans voted on their favorite games. The part I enjoyed the best was the behind the scenes bits on each game. Of course the little stories behind Mario and the work that went into MGS 2 also was cool too. I realize there is a bias against MTV here so I understand if some of you missed it.

Seanbaby needs to stick to writing, because all he did was read boring-assed cue cards the whole fucking time...

Maybe if he had written the cue cards I could have gotten a laugh, but no.

I may not completely agree with the countdown, but the show's presentation was pretty good. It was certainly better than Spike TV's awards and surely anything on G4, although that's not saying much. The little extra features they had on a lot of games (guy talking about thps physics, splinter cell writer, etc) were interesting.

This is pretty much everything I would have said. Especially about seanbaby. The presentation really was well done, the 8bit music was a nice touch. And that bit about THPS was nice.

Yeah, Seanbaby was maybe the least comfortable tv "personality" i've ever witnessed.

i tried to watch this show but literally couldn't stomach any more after about ten minutes. all those egm people are worthless (and i've been buying egm for years) and extremely annoying to listen to, especially the girl. and how the whole thing was just so "mtv-ized". that lame ass and his official gran turismo car. and the fat whore who lost weight on ddr. please.
