Also, did anyone grab this, now that it's out in the US, and play it? I want to hear some thoughts and comments about it since I am not able to play this myself (a horror for a big RE fan such as myself).

Online impressions:

It doesn't seem like important item locations (keys and weapons and such) are randomized, which I find really disappointing. (Mind you, I've only played offline twice and online once, but each time was identical.) Maybe PSO fans who like this kind of consitent braindead (excuse the pun) gameplay will really enjoy this too, but I do like a little variety when I go online.

Nonetheless, the game is still pretty fun, and, in fact, is even better when you have a team of assholes. When I played online, my teammates ran ahead and actually baricaded me out of the room with all of the weapons, so I had to run to another room and hide under the bed until the zombies broke through the barrier. It pissed the hell out of me, but certainly made things way more interesting. (And then we all died, anyways.)

Damn, a sequeal already? With featuring the same people from the first game? That doesn't make any sense...what's the point of having the same exact cast? What are they going to do, all survive the wipeout of Racoon City, band together and take on Umbrella at their European Headquarters?? I can understand Kevin going after them (he's law enforcment like the older RE characters) and maybe Yoko due to her being connected to Umbrella, but the others are just regular folks (which I doubt anyone of them survived).

If you're going to make a sequeal/prequeal to this game, at least do something like have a totally different cast of characters in another part of the city (sans an Umbrella lab this time). They have something going on here to help RE with Outbreak being different in most aspects than other RE games, I don't want them to fuck it up with an s-load of sequeals/prequeals.
