Pentiums outperform AMD chips easily. This has been the case for years, and it doesn't look like its gonna change. AMDs are cheaper, which is awesome (when/if I ever build my own comp it will probably have an AMD), but you get what you pay for.
And there arent any 256 mb PCI video cards because PCI is fucking ancient and you couldnt even take advantage of the video card's power on a slow-ass PCI bus.
Even though P4 may outperform some AMD models, AMD is built for overclocking Really man, who uses their AMD at the speed they bought it at?
