Need for Speed: Underground(PS2)...registering problem!!!

i had this game the day it came out, and untill now i can't seem to register. I fill in the required spaces and when i hit "ok" to confirm my selection, it keeps telling me that the user name is in use!

i ever tried registering as "marwan9836284" and it keeps telling me it's taken(which is impossible). what gives? anyone having the same problem? also, whenever there is AOL, there is trouble!

somebody had a thread about this when the game launched i think. dont remember if they got a solid answer.

i had the same problom. but after tryin for an hour i got a name that no one had. and it works fine now. i to was like wtf!!!!!!! but after awhile i got a name that no one had.

Hah hah, I had the same problem when using variations of "MarkRyan" and other names I'm used to using... I ended up with something like "piosdpfuidfpgidfg" but it finally let me register
