That sure is purty looking... wonder how it looks in motion though.
Gust's Atelier series goes more RPG and less simulation this time:

Regardless, the stills look amazing.
A good 2D game is infinitely better than a bad or medicore 3D game.
I know it's crazy to ask, but do you think they might port this to PC? Or X-Box? Or even the Cube?
Time for a change

Nope. Gust's focus is PS2. Some other companies have ported some of their games to other platforms (Kool Kizz's Marie & Elie no Atelier for DC, for instance). That's the only chance, if there's any.Originally Posted by g0zen

While certain genres fit better in 2D or 3D, dimensions do not a cause or effect of quality. Quality and dimension are simply different traits of any game.
I can see the expressions on their faces!!! That's got to be the clearest looking 2D sprite-work I've ever seen. And the character design doesn't hurt it either.
Looks pretty but I too fear what the animation might be.Play GGXX, the faces are comparable to that second pic.Originally Posted by Captain Vegetable

That looks quite nice. Makes me want to play Princess Crown again.
They are never too many times to do that.
