I'm right at the Raider Matron boss battle, and she dresses extremely similarly to the Dark Elf sorcerous from Dark Alliance. Strange.

The game has been wonderful up to this point. The challenge is right on, and the reward system (as far as cash goes) is perfect. You never, ever have an excess of funds. I like it that way. Just enough money to gradually upgrade my equipment, but not nearly enough to make me an unstopable force early in the game.

I'm going to see what I can't do about this Raider Matron right now. I'm curious to see if I'll be visiting any other towns outside of Carbon. The story has been progressing nicely, and from the looks of things, I'm pretty much finished with the town. One can only hope.

And for the record, I bought the XBOX version (just like I always do). From what I've seen, the XBOX handles the game more effectively. I even did a side-by-side comparison in the store.

It looks intersting, no time for new games right now thouhg, maybe after a price drop and a decline in my pos. but gladius jsut had a very good rental from me, so it is gettign docketted after gladius(xb, because my friend who is a strat nut only has an xb)

I just kicked the Matron's ass, followed shortly by the ghoul cult leader. Now I'm following some tart around looking for a key he hid. What fun!
