Inverted
Not Inverted
So, what do you use in FPSes?
I started inverted, but eventually switched. It feels awkward to me, now.

Time for a change
I still stand by that people who don't use inverted are unwashed heathens.
Inverted is the way to be.
This filthy heretic always uses normal (i.e., non-inverted). The only time I haven't was in GunValkyrie, and it took me a couple of weeks to unlearn.
My brain works thusly: if I move the stick or mouse forward, my target should move up. Moving the opposite of the direction I press makes zero logical sense.
In any case, games should always offer the option to switch *eyes GunValk*.

I have my brain really trained - if it's my right thumb/hand I like it normal and if it's my left thumb I like it inverted. So normal for Halo and Deus Ex, inverted for Panzer Dragoon Orta and Crimson Skies. If they're switched I'm in trouble.
Inverted, always. And I get angry when it's not the default setting.
For rail shooters, I'm all messed up. I always play inverted now but my brain is still stuck on normal thanks to SMS Space Harrier(I didn't know about the hidden option menu until a while after I got it).
i don't play them, but inverted is the way to go. Ever since playing the hell out of Afterburner back when, that's the scheme i'm used to. Feels totally wrong any other way.
Whenever they're flying, obviously inverted is the ONLY way to travel.
Console FPS games definitely use inverted.
PC FPS games, however, I think I just use normally (ie non-inverted). I have to admit, it's been a little while since I played one, so I can't remember.
In general, I can play either style, but believe inverted to be superior.
