Console games = inverted
PC games = not-inverted
If I'm using some kind of stick it has to be inverted or I'm totally lost. Although when using a mouse it seems really awkward to go with the inverted setting.
Inverted
Not Inverted
I thought so.I just checked. SShock used R for up and V for down(or clicking the mouse on the specific HUD section) so it wasn't inverted.

Bungie released Marathon (Macintosh) in winter 1994, before Dark Forces, and it had the ability to jump, swim, look up, look down. The way I played it then was using Page Up/Down to look up/down while strafing--nowadays inverted with mouse or thumbstick all the way.
The spiritual predecessor to HALO. In fact, look at the model for the main character, he's clearly the retro-Master Chief.Originally Posted by soundwave

Yup I'm a big Marathon fan--beat I & II. There even are supposed to be true story links between Halo and Marathon games and supposedly more will be aluded to in the sequel. If they are set in the same universe they would be several 100 years apart.Originally Posted by g0zen

EDIT: For such an old game, it was pretty stylish. I remember seeing how that one kinda enemy would fuzz like a TV screen when you shot him, and I was really impressed.
