Two (4?) new Tales games announced.

- Namco announced four new Tales of game titles for various platforms. First is Tales of Legendia for GameCube, sequel to Tales of Symphonia, the game will be published by Nintendo later this year, similar to Tales of Symphonia, the game will continue to use the Multi-Linear Battle System, full 3D graphics, and new GBA connectivity features.

- Second is Tales of Truthia for PlayStation 2, the sequel to Tales of Eternia. The game will continue to use the traditional 2D Linear Battle system.

I'm thrilled by the news of Tales of Truthia most, to be honest. Then again, I haven't even gotten time with the first of the Gamecube incarnations, so I guess I wouldn't know.

We'd just better get them.

Actually, it's 4 new games. There's a new GBA Tales and Tales of Fandom Volume 2 (PS1) announced as well. And a rumored PSP Tales game in the works suppossedly...

Worst names ever. Does Eternia really need a sequel? That game was horrible. Can't comment on Symphonia. The series should have ended with Destiny.

Destiny sucked. Eternia was solid, and especially had a great world, worth revisitng. You're broken.

I'd be more excited if I could read japanese. It doesn't seem like Namco's too concerned with getting these games to the US.

He's right about that much. Someone needs to teach Namco the fine art of attaching numbers to the ends of their titles.

They tried that with Tales of Destiny 2 and it ended up being the worst of the series. Best to suffer through a bad name than a bad game.
