Yea, I think this, Vagrant Story, and Anthologies all got the rerelease treatment a few months back.
I was at the local Best Buy yesterday picking up the El mariachi trilogy and was browsing the game section. I was looking at the GC games, or lack of GC games, and moved into the PS games section. not really paying attention since there wasnt much to look at, and then I do a double take. Im thinkin this isn't real, no way, not here. Low and behold there is a new copy of Final Fantasy chronicles. I had been searching for this in stores for quite some time but with no luck. I quickly snatched it up and happily forked over the mere $21.99 for it. It wasn't till later I noticed the Square Enix label on it. Little had I known they had re-re-released this. I have never played either of these games, but I had watched a friend play Chrono Trigger and i seemed really cool.

And Xenogears as well... but I've yet to see ether Vagrant Story or Xenogears in store yet.
Chronicles is the one with Chrono Trigger and FF3 US?Originally Posted by DarkCrow676

Chrono Trigger and FF2 U.S. you mean. (Technically it's more FFIV, since it's got the jacked up difficulty)
No, he was right.
But only about them being the best Square games ever.

Yeah, a bunch of Square's classic PSX games were released recently, Sony's still trying to squeeze the last bit of juice left in the system.
Not that it's a bad thing, these are some choice titles their re-releasing. Circuit City had 'em all on sale for $14.99 a pop a couple weeks back.
omg TNL epics!
I'm playing through Chronotrigger for the first time now on Snes. I've had Chronicles for a while, but didn't like the load times. I don't understand it. RPG's that are made for CD systems, I have no problems with, but these older cart based ones, I have no patience for.
