No you don't. Flint is as generic a character as there is and really felt showhorned in. Even when I was a little kid and he popped up in the comic/cartoon I knew he was totally derivative of Hawk and Duke and not needed.

Did anyone read the script? Snake Eyes is shoehorned in. Half is about the 'Joes and Cobra. Then out of nowhere Ninja story, then last half 'Joes and Cobra. Thats shoehorned.
