    This sounds fucking stupid, if true:

    Last week, it was reported that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in talks to appear in Stephen Sommer's G.I. Joe, but at the time, there was no word regarding what role Levitt might be up for. Well, CHUD reports that Levitt will be playing a character ("Rex") who is best friend to Duke, leader of the G.I. Joe team.

    Furthermore, they reveal that Levitt's character is not only Duke's best friend, but he is also Cobra Commander! The character was a former G.I. Joe team member who turns to the dark side and starts the Cobra organization.
