We knew the movie was fucked from the moment they announced it. The only way this movie would have had a chance is to set it back in the early '80s when the Hama comic and RAH toyline started. Accept some camp into the writing, lean on traditional '80s action flicks for inspiration (Aliens, Terminator, Predator, Die Hard, Rambo: First Blood Part 2, Commando, etc.), and give us back a kickass Reagan. Easy enough to accept disgruntled people in a post-Vietnam and post-Carter era wanting to rise up against their government & follow a looney toon promising them everything.

IIRC this scene is set somewhere in the middle or so with a length of 5 to 10 mins as the Joes chase after Baroness & Co. while jumping around traffic and through a bus. Somehow I doubt this is the only Accelerator Suit scene.

I'd imagine they'll say anything at this point to trick people into still buying a ticket.
