So we're bitching about Destro's mask why? His lips moved in the cartoon when it was a mask. At least having it be his face makes lip movement a little more believable.

I think the fact that it is incoherent story writing, is what bothers people. If their are nano bots that can rework the flesh of your body, why is anyone bothering with anything else? Its like they said it was the second coming of Jesus and he fixed his face. Well if Jesus came back, why is anyone fighting? If there are fucking nano machines that fix people, why is anyone fighting at all?

What the old fans want is for someone to take the source material from their childhoods and make a mature scifi movie out of it and do it with enough pation and detail that it takes them to the same magical world they used to go to when they were 8 on saturday morning.

They are pissed because they are not getting that. They get movies with lots of flash with 50 things in the story that take them out of the movie.

They are getting the modern equivalent of bad cult scifi and horror movies, and then being slapped in the face by having their childhood spray painted on the top of it.

And for the people hiding behind "oh this is for today's kids, it isn't for you" you are full of shit. Transformers 2 is being used to sell all sorts of goods to the 20-30 crowd.
