Yeah. I thought Seed was more of an alternate retelling of the original UC rather than a new UC storyline.

Also, when it comes to good Gundam series' to check out, I'm surprised no one has mentioned 0080. I found that one to be very good as well, though no neccessarily the best for a first time Gundam veiwer.
