There's nothing like sniping the mustaches off guards faces...

Codemasters just released a new batch of screens for their upcoming PC FPS IGI2: Covert Strike. Following the success of last years Project IGI: I’m Going In, IGI2 looks to surpass the original in every way.

Picking up where the Project IGI left off, players assume the role of David Jones, former SAS soldier, as he partakes in numerous missions for the government’s top-secret IGI division. IGI2 boasts enhanced AI over its predecessor, as well as a revamped save system. Spoken and animated cut scenes develop the plot as the game progresses, taking you through such diverse locals as China, Russia and Libya. Multiplayer team-based combat for up to eight players per side will also be included.

Look for IGI2: Covert Strike in stores this summer.
