Now that this has been bumped back up in the queue... Metal Slug, Shina is indeed a girl. The Bloody Roar demo is available on nearly every GC demo kiosk in the US, go give her a try. As I said, she looks much more heavenly in the game, but I've had a hard time finding a good screenshot of her to link to.
And if that doesn't convince you, select her second outfit... not many guys jiggle like that.
