I just got a brand new one from EB today, seems like everywhere else its $20, just wanted everyone to know, i dont know if its at every EB though, the price was marked down on the sticker.

I almost picked one of these up the other day, but I couldn't think of any good GC games I'd want to import that weren't already over here.

Any suggestions? How well do the Free Loaders work?

I read that may have some issues with memory cards, but I'm not entirely sure of the details.

(And I don't think they recognize Wavebirds.)

Very true. I did the $5 Freeloader a few months back, it's how I played Doshin, Star Soldier, and Shikigami no Shiro 2, but from what I hear I can't save Mr Driller. Therefore I need to get it modded, because no Mr Driller is just plain wrong.

The thing about EB and Freeloader is that if it's still in stock then you're fine, but as near as I can tell when it's sold out it's not coming back. You pretty much have to get lucky to find it, but it's well worth seeking out if you want a cheap import gaming solution.
